As Archwright approaches its 10-year anniversary, the boutique firm specializing in fine home building and estate management, has announced an important milestone in the company's next chapter.

Effective January 1, 2026, Cara Meneses has assumed the role of President and sole owner of Archwright.

Archwright was founded in 2016 by Brian Lafauce and Cara Meneses with a shared vision: to build a company defined by exceptional craftsmanship, transparent communication, and genuine partnership. Over the past decade, that vision has guided the firm's work throughout coastal New England, resulting in over 120 completed projects, industry recognition, and long-lasting relationships built on trust, collaboration, and respect.

Lafauce has retired, and the company wishes him a well-deserved and fulfilling retirement. Archwright will continue to build on the foundation established during its first decade.

Concurrent with this transition, Archwright has promoted Michael Mailloux to Vice President. Mailloux has been with the firm since its founding in 2016, demonstrating unwavering dedication, strong leadership, and devotion to the craft that defines Archwright's work. His promotion reflects both his contributions to the company's first decade and his role in leading the firm forward.

As the firm enters its second decade, Archwright's strength lies in its team and the structure that supports the work. The company has assembled a talented, dedicated group of professionals whose experience, care, and attention to detail define every project undertaken. Work is guided by a thorough, disciplined process—from initial concept and preconstruction through completion—ensuring clarity, accountability, and exceptional results at every stage.

Archwright has built a reputation rooted in deep expertise in coastal construction and historic restoration and preservation. These complex projects demand technical knowledge, careful planning, and respect for place, reflecting the firm's commitment to craftsmanship that endures. Central to Archwright's approach is a strong emphasis on preconstruction. When engaged early in the planning process, the team provides critical insight into constructability, scheduling, and budgeting, helping projects move forward with greater efficiency, financial clarity, and fewer surprises.

Looking ahead, the firm's focus remains unchanged: delivering exceptional quality, fostering strong partnerships, and building homes that will stand for generations. By investing in its people, refining its processes, and maintaining the collaborative approach that has always defined Archwright, the company is positioned to continue evolving thoughtfully and intentionally.

Under Meneses's leadership, Archwright continues its commitment to the principles and practices that have established the firm as a trusted partner for luxury coastal construction throughout New England.
