Sand Away

For this historic Cape Cod property, the client’s goal was to convert an aging vacation home into a modern family retreat. We embraced the challenges of the space and historic district regulations, collaborating closely with the architectural team and homeowner. Rather than a complete raze, we took down a previous addition that wasn’t suited to their needs, lifted the original 1930s structure, and relocated to a fresh foundation to accommodate the new footprint of the home. The design style may be the only aspect of this home that could be considered 'minimal,' as custom details can be seen in every corner of the home, from the fine millwork to the elegant wallpaper selections.
